We are currently looking for an intern to run a blog about human trafficking and raise awareness!
Here are the details and expectations:
This internship is voluntary (without payment) and is meant to provide a positive way to raise awareness on the issue of human trafficking using online media. The goal of this internship is to maintain an online presence through blogging about issues related to human trafficking in the US and abroad. The intern will be expected to complete the following activities during the term of the internship:
Post 1 original, substantial (600-800 word) blog about human trafficking/social justice per week for the duration of the internship, with sources cited
Post updates for upcoming I’m Aware events on blog
Answer questions related to human trafficking, citing sources when necessary
Time commitment per week is approximately 4 hours
The intern applying for the position must have a working knowledge of computers, including sending and receiving emails and researching the internet for reliable sources.
